We are a respected architectural firm based in the south suburbs of Chicago, specializing in educational design while also serving municipal and commercial clients. Our mission is to deliver innovative, sustainable, and client-focused solutions that shape communities and inspire learning environments.
We are seeking a Licensed Architect to join our collaborative team and lead projects from concept through completion. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working on projects that matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage architectural projects from conceptual design through construction administration and closeout
- Develop construction documents, write specifications, and ensure compliance with building codes, ADA, and zoning regulations
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, and contractors to deliver successful projects
- Provide technical expertise and maintain high standards of design quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Current Illinois architectural license (required)
- 5+ years of professional experience in architectural design and project management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit, Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of building systems, construction techniques, and material specifications
- Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills
